News Article/Announcement MCA Namibia awards giant N$214 million infrastructure contracts

MCA Namibia has awarded construction work contracts to the value of N214.4 million for MCA-N development projects this week.   This is the largest singular contract package assingment since the implementation of MCA Namibia's Compact programme in 2009 with the aim to reduce poverty through economic growth in the country's tourism, agriculture and education sectors.

The contracts for the renovation and additional infrastructure of (14) schools, (8) Community Skills Development Centres and (4) State Veterinary Offices were awarded to two Namibian and two South African constructions companies: Nexus Group (Nam) Walcon Construction (Nam) Stefanutti Stocks (SA) and GVK Siya Zama (SA).
