Minister of Education Dr. Abraham Iyambo Lays Cornerstone for the Regional Study and Resource Centre, AND 10 Schools in Ohangwena Region

The citizens of Ohangwena Region, among which were Education Inspectors, Teachers and learners as well as Helao Nafidi community members gathered at Helao Nadifi on Tuesday, 15 November 2011 to witness the laying of a cornerstone for the Regional Study and Resource Centre and 10 schools earmarked for upgrading and renovation, by Millennium Challenge Account Namibia (MCA Namibia). 

The laying of a cornerstone was officiated by Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Abraham Iyambo and was witnessed by among others the Director General of the National Planning Commission (NPC) who is also MCA Namibia Board Chairperson, Mr. Tom Alweendo. Further in attendance were the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Deputy Resident Country Director, MCA Namibia CEO, Ohangwena Regional Councillors and Traditional Leaders.
