Millennium Challenge Expert: Fertile soils in northern Namibia must be protected

Overgrazing, droughts and erosion due to floods have significantly reduced the quality of soils in many parts of northern Namibia and need to be proactively protected. This is the view of agro scientist Dr. Jeff Herrick, who held a public lecture at Windhoek’s Polytechnic Hotel School on 23 May 2012.
